The Clubs senior mens team made their debut in the top flight of the British Athletics League hosting at New River Stadium , White Hart Lane in the opening match of the season . Following on the previous years success in winning the division 2 title the team performed brilliantly to finish a very strong 2nd on the day … one which was never bettered in the clubs illustrious years in the League … and the club finished 3rd in the final league table after 4 rounds of matches .
