ROY STRATTON 9th April 1937 – 28th November 2023
It is with great sadness to let you all know that Roy Stratton, an incredible stalwart for this Club for many years has sadly passed away .
Roy, a former athlete himself, and his wife Beryl gave so much to Enfield & Haringey Athletic Club – between them they covered many important roles within the club – Roy’s love of the sport saw him work tirelessly for Middlesex County, South of England and many more – the list of his contribution to athletics is phenomenal .
Roy had always been at the centre of Athletics for Middlesex County – his work spread over many years, serving twice as their President – to say Roy will be missed in the World of Athletics is an understatement – the Sport is a poorer place without him .
We send all our Love and Prayers to Beryl and the family at this very sad time .

His funeral is on Friday 5th January at 11am to be held at ;
Enfield Crematoriom , Great Cambridge Road , Enfield EN1 4DS
Followed by 12.15pm a Service of Remembrance at St Anne’s Church, 200 Larkshall Road, Chingford E4 6NP
Followed by the Wake at the Larkshall Pub, 205 Larkshall Road E4 6NT
Parking is available at the Larkshall Pub for anyone attending the church service
Everyone is welcome to attend both the cremation and the service of remembrance
The family are trying to capture numbers for catering at the Wake so if you are aware of who might be attending please let Major Carr know .
