“Well done” to the amazing 4×400 metre women’s quartet of Laviai Nielsen, twin sister Lina, Ama Pipi and Jessie Knight (TVH). They all ran brilliantly to take the Bronze medal in a new British record.
Congratulations to Laviai Nielsen who ran a fantastic race in the Final of the 400 metres at the World Indoor Championships in Glasgow.
Laviai narrowly missed out winning the bronze medal. She came 4th in a season’s best (50.89 seconds) in a race which was won by Femke Bol (Holland) in a World Indoor Record of 49.17 seconds.
And well done to Issy Boffey who narrowly missed a place in the semi-finals of the 800 metres. There’s plenty more to come from Issy.
