Desiree Henry ran a great 2nd leg in the 4x100m for Team GB to consolidate Asha Philip’s opening leg,with Dina Asher-Smith and Daryll Neita running the US team close to take Silver in a time of 42.12s behind the US(41.82s),with the Jamaican team 3rd in 42.19s.
In the very next race it was Gold for the Mens team as Chijindu Ujah got Team GB off to a great start with Adam Gemili,Danny Talbot and Nethaneel Mitchell-Blake taking out the US team with a new British Record of 37.47s.
100m SemiFinalists Chijindu Ujah and Desiree Henry , 200m SemiFinalist Bianca Williams.
On the final day Team GB earned a great Silver medal in the 4x400m behind convincing favourites USA.Laviai Nielsen ran superbly on leg 2 (50.8s) following a great start by Zoey Clark to take the team from 5th into 2nd place,and Eilidh Doyle and Emily Diamond maintained that 2nd place as Poland challenged.
