It is with Deepest Sadness to report that Ivor Wiggett passed away yesterday the 27th January 2026.
Ivor was simply an incredible man who has given everything to the Sport of Athletics.
He was a member of London Heathside Athletics Club (founded 2000) previously called North London Athletic Club (founded 1972)
Ivor gave over 60 years of dedication to this sport and after competing as a middle distance athlete he became a brilliant starter … but much more …people like Ivor are RARE …
He was a wonderful kind person, always gave people his time and would always be on hand to help whatever the weather – his smiling face will be sorely missed by us all.
Rest in Peace Ivor.
